BRO-T Posted August 20, 2009 Posted August 20, 2009 Just had my K1 fitted that I was able to get off ebay quite cheap!!! The difference in noise is unbelievable. Admittedly when I drove away from my m8s garage it had the baffles in to tone it down a bit. My god it sounded awesome!! Then decided I'd give it a couple of days with the baffles out!!! The noise level is incredible! Pretty sure my neighbours are going to complain when I go to work at 6am each morning Loving the exhaust!!!! Quote
IanS16 Posted August 20, 2009 Posted August 20, 2009 Nice one mate The West Mids meet is going to be LOUD Quote
BRO-T Posted August 20, 2009 Author Posted August 20, 2009 Too right it will be!!!! I had forgotten just how loud performance exhausts were. So glad I updated the audio before hand. Now i crank it up that bit further!! Quote

BRO-T Posted August 20, 2009 Author Posted August 20, 2009 Can any1 tell me, is the K1 road legal without the baffles in?? Quote
BladesGrant Posted August 20, 2009 Posted August 20, 2009 I would say you are only really going to get stopped if the rozzer in question is having a bad day you have done something really bad like shot his dog!!!! Quote
Ekona Posted August 20, 2009 Posted August 20, 2009 While it's not a true test, and you could still technically get a s59 for it if you were being a tit, I passed my MOT last week with it on. Quote

Zedman Posted September 15, 2009 Posted September 15, 2009 My standard exhaust has just started blowing! Can anyone give me some advice on what difference there is to the sound with a K1 and K2? Also any views on how easy both systems are to fit. Cheers. Quote
Darren-B Posted September 15, 2009 Posted September 15, 2009 There both easy to fit, the hardest part is getting the original silencer off. The k1 & k2 are much louder than the standard system, k1 being the loudest (I think) Quote
Zedman Posted September 15, 2009 Posted September 15, 2009 Thanks for the reply Darren. I do a fair bit of longish distance driving so perhaps the K2 would suit better. Cheers for the advice. Quote
