Mongoose or Scorpion? Quick thread/answers -cheers

My lass will @*!# herself if she see's I'm spending even more money that I don't have, but fancy a decent cat-back without my credit card bank manager rubbing his hands together wildly.

 

Seen mongoose and scorpion on ebay for around £300.

Suggestions?

I'd go for the scorpion from CS as at least if you know you will get excellent aftersales support

Not my cup o tea. Really don't like thelarge rear silencers behind the ends. Suit a supra maybe.

Didn't somebody ahve the Mongoose system & it rusted within a few months?

I have the Scorpion it sounds great just don't ask a friend to fit it or they won't be your friend anymore They are a bit of a pig to line up, do a search there are quite a few threads on it.

i watched one being fitted down at DMS,

 

nice piece of kit, looks really nice, but can be an arse to fit "straight", DMS got it on, but the issue was that the exhaust wasn't straight as well. they had to crack out the big hammers and the oxy-aceterlyne to re shape a hanger.

 

it was do able but took far longer than expected and a 2 man job to fit.

 

although its not all systems, i think it was a bad batch, as some people suffer, others don't.

 

 

CS also does the K2 which is similar to the scorpion, but doesn't have the fitment issues.
