anyone participated in some spirited driving against a fiat coupe 20v turbo?

Not worth it - by the time it reaches the first corner something will fall off it and the tyres will be ripped to shreds by the rust!:drive1

My old man has a Fiat coupe (pininfarina interior is :cloud9: even for an old car) and easy to get good power out of it for not much money. Its absolutely gutless until the turbo spools but then you get pushed back into your seat so its hard to tell how it would do against the n/a Zed.

nice one :D to be honest they dont really have a rust problem. i think it could give you a run for your money all those lost bits while driving = active weight loss. :teeth:

Fiat have probably sussed the rust issue - unlike Alfa where you still see Brand new Alfas with rusting exhaust boxes - poor in this day and age!

I guess the Fiat is quick and light on its feet - but why are they all yellow?

The crossfire SRT is properly quick... They are poor quality.. but for the money.. probably good value.

As for Fiat 20vt .. i always had a soft spot for them, my wife was close to buying a new one back in 95/96 but was put off by the a55hole main dealers in Stockport and a few less than trustworthy reviews in the car press so bought a Pug 305 gti-6.. which was a decent motor if less exotic than the 20vt..

Well considering how much most people dont like Crossfires - this is a hell of a long post!

To go slightly off centre - has anyone ever driven or have a Dodge Nitro or Jeep Patriot (Hate that name! :yuck: ) but cool looking 4x4 ;)
