M350ZB Posted June 3, 2009 Posted June 3, 2009 to the club btw, get a intro up in the intro section Quote
replikit Posted June 3, 2009 Author Posted June 3, 2009 thanks for the warm welcome to the club. its sitting on standard wheel and tyres, stock everything at the mo Quote
sunset350z Posted June 3, 2009 Posted June 3, 2009 Hi and welcome , if its doing it all the time on dry roads then there is something wrong. Take it to a specialist to get it checked out. Quote
rtbiscuit Posted June 3, 2009 Posted June 3, 2009 it may be on stocks but it doesn't mean that the last person put the right tyres on. if you have the 18 inch rays you should be on 245 45 18 rear and 225 45 18 front. also what tyres you running, if they're cheap crap it might be the problem. if everything is stock make sure tyre pressure is at 35 psi all round, as that might be the issue. replikit Posted June 4, 2009 Author Posted June 4, 2009 its happening everytime i drive, theres just this massive grinding noise, car grinds to a stop, then the esp light comes on, skid light comes on and i can drive normally but both lights stay on Quote
Ekona Posted June 4, 2009 Posted June 4, 2009 Grinding noise doesn't sound promising. Issue with the LSD perhaps? Would cause the slip sensors to go a bit potty straight away, and possibly also cause the grinding to a halt. If you bought it from a garage then take it straight back now, if from Joe Bloggs then I think I'd take it to a Nissan dealer for a diagnosis only, as noises are very hard to sort out over the interweb. Andy Posted June 4, 2009 Posted June 4, 2009 Tim?? It's Andy from Kudos.....I would agree with the above and get it to Nissan to get it checked out, doesn't sound good at all and no-one on here that I know of has had an issue like that. Quote
M350ZB Posted June 5, 2009 Posted June 5, 2009 thanks for the warm welcome to the club. its sitting on standard wheel and tyres, stock everything at the mo Are you 100% certain, the tyres are the correct ones too , if not as Andym says, get it checked out Quote
replikit Posted June 5, 2009 Author Posted June 5, 2009 hey andy, no its matt, tim's given me the 350 as he says he prefers his s2000, think its the lsd, dont think the tyres would cause this kinda problem, its got bridgestones, correct sizes all round Quote
M350ZB Posted June 5, 2009 Posted June 5, 2009 I know it may sound silly, but put up the sizes as it has been known for people to change, ya never no ? Quote
