There is absolutely nothing to worry about! Your engine has covers on it anyway....pretty much everything is covered battery, fluids, motor, etc! Quote
BulletMagnet Posted July 7, 2009 Posted July 7, 2009 Rain has no adverse effects at all, like mentioned above, your engine has covers anyway, so it will be fine. I jusr leave the traps in purely cos I'm lazy to clean the engine bay every week and only take the trap out for meets and shows. Quote

austin350z Posted July 7, 2009 Posted July 7, 2009 hmmm ? after todays down pour the the 3 areas that seem to get the worst of it are Pop charger, oil filler area and MAF sensor don't really want any of these things getting very wet !! Not sure what you mean by traps ? But i'm going to get some waterproof material on bungees to secure around the bonnet and under it for now as can't fit it in the garage !! Quote
BulletMagnet Posted July 7, 2009 Posted July 7, 2009 Not sure what you mean by traps ? martinmac and I both have the Varis bonnet which comes with "traps that go under the vents and act as waterdrains and guide the water to the radiator area away from the engine Quote
