cfoster Posted May 26, 2009 Posted May 26, 2009 As above what does your car's oil pressure gauge read on idle once its fully warmed up / run for a fair while in normal day to day traffic? Not sure what the norm should be as i noticed when mine was idling it was reading below 1/4 on the gauge? Chris Quote
Chesterfield Posted May 26, 2009 Posted May 26, 2009 Mine does too, if 1/4 is 15, then mine can sit as low as 10-12 on idle. Quote
ddmroadster350z Posted May 26, 2009 Posted May 26, 2009 Mine also, the book tells you that the gauge is not 100% accurate. Check your oil very week & change your oil to Lucas high performance 10w40 as the oil Nissan use is crap DDM Quote
3FIDDYZ Posted May 26, 2009 Posted May 26, 2009 Mine reads the FT during the week and The News of the World on Sunday Bout the same as above Quote
Martin W Posted May 26, 2009 Posted May 26, 2009 I hadn't noticed your new sig no fit chicks will not rub what? Quote
MAYHEW820 Posted May 27, 2009 Posted May 27, 2009 Wifey's usually reads 15 when very hot idling, once the revs up then just below 60 psi. I was worried about this to begin with but shared data cures curiosity Quote
Trev-the-Rev Posted May 27, 2009 Posted May 27, 2009 Completly off topic, but MAYHEW820 you have an excellent taste in avatars Quote

Mines just gone off the scale But having cooled down, normal reading is around 15 at idle and 60 at 70mph (296bhp engine) Quote
