Ian Posted May 5, 2009 Posted May 5, 2009 I started to fit my Rare JDM harness cover this afternoon It looks great but its not secured properly yet because I cant get the 2 front studs that the old engine cover attatched off ^^ I need to get that off on each side but it wont budge Any ideas? Quote

It is attached to the timing cover but it is removable two nuts. screw them together TIGHT then you should be able to back it out turning the bottom one. Looks good though! Think you need a few bits poilshed though! i really need to give the engine bay a good clean, theres a few more polished bits to go in eventually though Quote

Adam@Z1auto.com Posted May 5, 2009 Posted May 5, 2009 Ian - it's not installed correctly the front L bracket gets secured on the inside of the cover, not the outside to remove the studs, take a 10mm nut, tighten it down on the stud, then remove it..it should unthread the stud Quote
