You could prolly have another type of attachment made up for it, now that the mounting bracket is in place.......like say a drag strip mega spoiler with wheelie bars...

Everytime I want to take my bike upto the Lake District I have to take the girlfriends Punto. Being able to take the bike and my zed would be perfect.

i don't know if this will help if you've got a convertible but i've been using a standard hatchback bike rack to carry my bike around...it sits a little flatter than if it were on a hatchback and doesn't clear the car as much. i've got some pipe lagging for extra protection...i've used it countless times without so much as a scratch to the car or bike.

Phil, the straps say Paddy Hopkirk, i don't know how much it cost or what model it is as i found it in the storeroom where i live! it seems to work well though!

yeah that looks similar to the one i've got but like i said, i was lucky enough to find one and test it out and so didn't have to buy it, it might be worth going to a shop and seeing what it looks like when its sat on the back of your car before buying?
