AK350Z Posted April 29, 2009 Posted April 29, 2009 Still down in Hereford at the moment, just driving along down a big A-road this morning and heard a sizeable bang! Didn't think much of it, sounded like a pebble being thrown up in the arch. Stopped and had a look later on when we arrived at destination only to find a irregular marble size dent on the door crease line! Paint taken off around it down to the metal, and a couple of ricochet marks a few inches away. I looks like someone threw a stone at the door, but we were on a quiet A-road with no traffic and fields all around. No idea what it was, didn't see anything. So looks like it's back in the shop next week to get the dent out and probably re-spray the door. AARRRRGGGGHHH! Quote

nixy Posted April 29, 2009 Posted April 29, 2009 i have a crater size stone ship near the wheel arch that happened the same way, massive bang while on a slip road like something had been thrown at the car. Stone chip down to the metal and a ding surrounding it. So annoying. Quote

Right on the crease line too! Quote
