marzman Posted April 3, 2009 Posted April 3, 2009 Mate - me too. I worked 10am till midnight last saturday, and then all day sunday too. Still, it was overtime and i'll get just over 400quid out of it - which will be spent on my car im sure. So thats why we do it! Quote

Especially if it wasnt pre-agreed cover. I make a lot of money over unagreed OT as they have no right to call you out if you didnt agree to it One unsolicited call out paid for my Varis lip way back when Quote
dcash5 Posted April 3, 2009 Author Posted April 3, 2009 unfortunately in the position I am in I do not received any overtime payments (its expected) Quote
Chris`I Posted April 3, 2009 Posted April 3, 2009 unfortunately in the position I am in I do not received any overtime payments (its expected) Balls to that! Hope you get reimbersed another way. I would never sign up for a contract where they can ring you whenever they please and demand you do OT Quote

Stew Posted April 3, 2009 Posted April 3, 2009 That's illegal...... And to answer I have no idea! IT sucks ass! I'd rather look after bits of metal stuck in holes thousands of miles away! Quote

I would never sign up for a contract where they can ring you whenever they please and demand you do OT Isn't that why most of us work in the industry, because of the fairly high money?? Agree with Chris, you need a better contract. That's a bit on the nose. Quote
