Yes, JDM have a limit set to 112MPH. You can remove the limiter with a specific little box of tricks, try a search, you'll find plenty.

BTW, you obviously found this out on your private road didnt you ;)

+1 you have to have it de-restricted for 'track use'. :) ESR used to sell the gizmo, HKS something or other? Not sure who stocks it now - maybe Envy?

I'm pretty sure there are two different ones for the Auto and Manual.

There was a thread a long while ago with all the info that you may be able to find.

Yes, I am aware that it is type 2 that is needed for an auto, but I wondered why on that site there was a specifc, and much more expensive, version for the 350Z. Seems like a rip-off, since American sites are advertising them at the same price as for most other Japanese cars.

Are they pretty straight forward to fit, im a bit of noob when it comes to cars really, so is it a diy job or a garage job.

Hello

Sorry for all the questions, but whats the difference between the type 1 and the 350z device as someone has posted, other sites are displaying a limiter non specific to he 350z, do i need to buy the specific 350z one?

Cheers

Does anyone know what my 08 Zed would do without the speed limiter? I get 155 in Fifth!! then it sort of stops going any faster, racing a 911 turbo the other day I managed 160 just but with loads of revs to go..

Private road obviously.. *ahem*
