D4XNY Posted March 15, 2009 Posted March 15, 2009 Hi yer, well as you may know, i have been picking your brains a lot now! Finally picked up my car last week YEsterday was the first chance to give her some TLC! So decided to take some pics, have already started the modding!! Im a fast mover!! Hope you like! Yes i got camera happy!! Dan Quote
D4XNY Posted March 15, 2009 Author Posted March 15, 2009 Very nice car buddy Also some tasteful mods Cheers, i bought it with the intention, that i didnt have to do too much to it, I love the rear leds that i have added to it, and also the front carbon eyebrows. The exhaust i had fitted on friday, and i get a much better V6 rumble than from the stock, she sounds lush now, which is why i bought the car anyway, mostly for the noise. I did take the mufflers out, which do sound awesome though a bit too loud! It already has an air filter fitted, and i gave the engine bay a good clean. The only mods i may have for it now, is a few carbon bits i may add to the skirts and rear spats, and maybe a few carbon bits for the engine to tart that up a bit No real issues with the car yet, though im fearing the clutch is on its way out, so gonna renew the clutch and flywheel soon, as it seems the natural thing to do. Also when im open the door, i notice the courtesy lights do not come on, ie the door lights and the interior lights, im hoping this is just a fuse in the drivers footwell, can anyone confirm this?? Cheers Quote
3FIDDYZ Posted March 15, 2009 Posted March 15, 2009 Nice mate, some nice quick mods Which Zorst? As you mentioned the sides and spats, Envy south have both in stock, say them today. They are the Shine Nismo replicas but according to those that have them, there a great fit and quality Not feeling the love for 350z badges on the wing mirrors though.. Sorry! Quote
marzman Posted March 15, 2009 Posted March 15, 2009 Very nice mate. Make sure that your interior light switch is set to the right position - this means it will come on with the doors... it took me a couple of days to figure that out when i got mine. Quote
bronzee Posted March 16, 2009 Posted March 16, 2009 She looks great Dan. It's got it's own distinctive style going already. Quote
Andy Posted March 16, 2009 Posted March 16, 2009 Very nice indeed!!! Good choice of mods that compliment each other nicely! Quote

Ha ha yeah, im not feeling the 350z thingys on the wing mirrors either, they were on it when i got it unfortunately. Will prob be taking them off very soon, when i think of a safe way to remove them! Hairdryer maybe....... The exhaust is a Japspeed, with the bafflers in! I took them out, and boy its sounds awesome, but also deafening, drove round for 20 mins with the bafflers out, to see what it would be like (as you do), then thought it best to keep the bafflers in, and take them out on special attention seeking occasions, ha ha! Its a shame cos the zorst does look better with them out! As for the interior light prob, yeah i tried both settings and it still didnt work, so im hoping there is a fuse for this, although looking on here, i didnt see anything for it, so looks like, im gonna have to be a contortionist and find out myself! But yeah im really loving it at the mo, she is so nice to drive, and blimey, it gets plenty of attention. I just love the way it feels so solid! Unfortunately in the week that i have had it the clutch has started to slip, typical luck eh! So as i have got more used to driving it, unfortunately, the car isnt responding to my new driving experience that im gaining. Im not too pi**ed off that the clutch is going, just gives me an opportunity to upgrade the clutch, and the flywheel as well, as i have read the 2 go hand in hand. And also gives me peace of mind its been done, and nothing majorly mechanical should go wrong with it in a long time (fingers crossed!) I will try not to drive it too much with a slipping clutch, though it is hard not too! I cant do too much damage can I??? As long as i dont give it too many beans?? Dan Quote
Denz Posted March 19, 2009 Posted March 19, 2009 I am envious. I am looking at Zeds right now. Tasty motor. I prefer this interior to the black. Is that a veilside kit on it? Quote

PhilTheForce Posted March 20, 2009 Posted March 20, 2009 That is looking spankalicious! One question though, where are the Z badges from? They look bigger than the ones Ive seen on fleabay and other owners cars...I like em! Quote
