Chris`I Posted March 11, 2009 Share Posted March 11, 2009 i've heard the same horror stories about powdercoating wheels but i asked the people that did mine and they say they have never had a set of wheels come back to them for cracking (they have done over 10,000 sets, wouldn't worry about those pics mate, the rotas are just fine The place I got mine done have never had a set fail either. From what I've heard, its people with thinner spoke wheels that let them get too hot (over 200C rings a bell). This semi melts the structure of the wheel and weakens it.
