washer jets

hello guys, just a quick question about how the water jets spray in other people's zeds. do they work lik eon other cars and squirt half way onto the middle of the windscreen? as mine seems to just splutter near the bottom. and then the wiper flicks it to the side and off the windscreeen.

 

my car is still under manufacturer warranty, if there is a problem will nissan fix it free of charge?

 

also i just got my first zed haha and loving it. just been reading about rear windscreen wash, just wondering how to get that work? where is the switch?

i can't remember off hand how mine squirts, but the control for the rear washer is on the right hand stalk control, i think you push it back to squirt and twist for speed settings

The jets are on the wiper arm itself,just keep it pressed while the wipers are going.

Yes the jets are actually on the wiper blades/arms themselves - pretty nifty and saves wasting water like in usual cars. Much more effective. I was a bit puzzled when I first saw them in action.

More importantly, it makes the bonnet soo much cleaner with out washer jets

Hi mate - see my post here - this sounds like your jets are clogged.

 

I dont know if nissan will fix it - but for 30mins of twiddling about and you'll sort it.

have you been on the pop lad
