check the pin hasn't come loose in the hinge.

i had it happen on my old civic. just pop it back in. requires a bit of manhandling on the door, and some force to put it in, but u should be able to see where the issue is

I get a clicking from the black plastic tie that connects the door to the "A" pillar to stop the door swinging open and hitting the wing !.. i need to grease it up i think :) giggity...

worth checking as well as the loose pin .

I get the same clicking/creaky noise too on my driver door. Don't get it on the passenger door. Nothing is loose. I was thinking of maybe spraying some oil wd40 on the hinges at the weekend and seeing if that helps. Unless anyone has solved this before with something else?

Usually happens when over time, you always open the door fully open and leave it there.

Over tme the weight of the door will cause pressure on the hinge and then start creaking.

Well I think so anyway...

Just checked and I can see the noise is indeed coming from the black plastic bit where there is a small nut in the middle of, actually on the car itself where the door hinge attaches to the body - the black plastic keeps slipping slightly side to side when the door is opened (if you open up the door you will see it towards the top). I was thinking about simply tightening the nut up to see if that helps. May try when a bit lighter. It may not work as there is no way for me to get behind the metal in case there is another nut on the other side which I'd have to hold while tightening. I'll see.
