Gutted, broke my rear light..

I'm a bit gutted today, broke my passenger rear light trying to get it off.

 

The bugger was really tight and I had to give it a big pull.

 

The light gave way and cracked at first I just thoguht it was the popper bracket that had just snapped but it wasn't

 

 

Looks like I'll be on the look out for a secondhand one if anyboday has one lying around.

 

Or alternatively I could opt for some LED jobbies -- Alex

I have 1 set left mate, but I would hate for you to splash out if you really did not want a set of these wonderful led's.

Therefore I can let you have a pre led tail lamp for nowt if you wish, but I really think that you should treat yourself and upgrade.

Know how you feel Craig, I am very unlucky with my car and regularily break things, normally on the A1 around sunderland. Fortunately I know someone around there to sort it out.

Great idea, Im gonna have to figure out a way to break my exhaust!

 

LEDs look awesome, but if you don't wanna give up 250ish, you can get a regular one for far less.

I upgraded recently, so I have a set lying.

Let me reverse park it and that should sort your lights

Yes its a bit of a bugger, so far Ive broke my lights, skirts, fluid tanks, bonnet stay, discs, pads, exhaust, air intake, and Ive had to cover a couple of scars on the front with a lip and the same on the back.

 

Terribly unreliable.

Thanks for the offer Martin. If you could do the rear bumper even more than it already is, I guess I'd have no choice but to change that as well.....

 

Like Chris, I couldn't believe it when my side skirts got dirty. They had to come straight off....

get the LED rear lights, loads better than the old style very dim ones. Its a Safety Improvement anyway
