3FIDDYZ Posted November 29, 2008 Posted November 29, 2008 20k... Come on lets get the market going in the right direction! Whats it on for? Whats your budget? So many factors, and had to say exactly as its a personal choice! Quote
Digsy Posted November 29, 2008 Posted November 29, 2008 12.5 to 13k i think. I wouldn't disagree with that. Quote
Franky Posted November 29, 2008 Author Posted November 29, 2008 I can have this car all in for £15250 warranty and 6 months tax incl. Quote
Milly Posted November 29, 2008 Posted November 29, 2008 overpriced IMHO . . . I've just paid 12K for same year GT with 22,000 on it, perfect nic, but it's in Gun Metal Grey Quote
Franky Posted November 29, 2008 Author Posted November 29, 2008 warranty is 12 months after some haggling, you see the colour does seem to boost the price some what , all the silvers are cheap and i dont like em that much where is the colourful ones are more expensive Quote
GIXXERUK Posted November 29, 2008 Posted November 29, 2008 12 month warranty has to be worth 1k Quote
Digsy Posted November 29, 2008 Posted November 29, 2008 I can have this car all in for £15250 warranty and 6 months tax incl.More haggling required. Quote
Trev-the-Rev Posted November 29, 2008 Posted November 29, 2008 I wouldn't go more than £13500. 06MY can be had now for not much over £14k. Quote
Franky Posted November 29, 2008 Author Posted November 29, 2008 But that is without the safety of a warranty, I have spent £10,000 incl purchase price on an Alfa GTV v6 in the last 18 months, and the aux belt snapped at bedford autodrome last sat going into the cam belt destroying all pistons and valves. Now i had a nightmare with this car as you can see by money spent on it, so i would like the nice feeling of being able to take it back to nissan to fix if anything goes wrong ? Quote

The answer then is what is it worth to you and not what is it worth. Even with a warranty this one is too much and the dealer will know that in this present market he'll be struggling to sell it at that price to anyone else. You are in a strong position to get more off. However, I sense that you want to buy it at this price and just wanted someone to say its a good deal - I'm afraid we can't. Quote
3FIDDYZ Posted November 29, 2008 Posted November 29, 2008 You can buy a wtee from the RAC or the AA, I belive Nissan use the RAC one, I took out a 3 year wtee on mine for piece of mind when I bought mine through Wilsons Nissan... Quote
rtbiscuit Posted November 29, 2008 Posted November 29, 2008 i got an 06 gt with 13500 on the clock for £14900. so i would say well over paid. you can buy warantees from external companies that cover you for multiple things. but the Zed seems to be a fairly reliable car. so for me as long as it has a full service history, and seems in good condition and passes the usual driver and car tests then go for it, but negotiate the price well down. Jotun Posted November 29, 2008 Posted November 29, 2008 These prices make me sad considering I got my 54 plate GT at the start of september for £14k and it had 38k miles - thought I'd done a good job getting 1.5k off what they put it up at Oh well you win some and you lose some! Quote
rtbiscuit Posted November 29, 2008 Posted November 29, 2008 my local nissan dealership were trying to sell me an identical car. for £18500, seems no one has told them yet had to get mine from harrowgate Quote
neodc Posted November 30, 2008 Posted November 30, 2008 same as above for me, my local nissan dealer still selling 04s, average miles for 16 to 18, i had to go in just to lol at them. Quote
