AK350Z Posted November 25, 2008 Posted November 25, 2008 Now that the Nismo is silly money, what is the quality equivalent for the old price? DC sports? Fujitsubo? Just thinking for after christmas... Quote

Adam@Z1auto.com Posted November 25, 2008 Posted November 25, 2008 why is the NISMO silly money? Depends who you get it from Quote
Digsy Posted November 25, 2008 Posted November 25, 2008 why is the NISMO silly money? Depends who you get it from Time to get advertising your NISMOs on here, pal - the UK suppliers can't get them for anything like the prices they could. What's your current price? Quote

But I could have the wrong end of the stick... Quote
Adam@Z1auto.com Posted November 25, 2008 Posted November 25, 2008 Nissan did raise the price of the exhaust about a month or so ago, but we do such volumes that our increase was kept much smaller than it otherwise would have been. We can still delivery it for ~$1550US shipped to the UK/Ireland -higher than it was, but not by too much. Unfortunately the exchange rate now is a bit more in our favor than yours However, this is the price for a single system. I'd be happy to work out group pricing (would all have to ship to one address) if we can get say 5 interested parties. If interested, organize and let us know Quote
rtbiscuit Posted November 25, 2008 Posted November 25, 2008 would the turbo xs exhaust be a comparable competitor to the nismo? Quote

Adam@Z1auto.com Posted November 26, 2008 Posted November 26, 2008 I wouldn't even consider the DC at this point. They were sold off from AEM earlier this year and now all their systems are made in China...quality has gone down to the tubes, lead times are enormous and it's not even a system that Id put on the radar anymore Quote
Pure Posted November 26, 2008 Posted November 26, 2008 Fujitsubo is the closest to the Nismo zorst. Fujitsubo is a factory fit option in Japan too. Quote
Adam@Z1auto.com Posted November 26, 2008 Posted November 26, 2008 Fujitsubo is the closest to the Nismo zorst. Fujitsubo is a factory fit option in Japan too. Fujitsubo makes top notch stuff for sure - I have their titanium unit on my own car Also previously ran the stainless version. However, it does not include a Y pipe like the NISMO unit does and costs more than the NISMO as a result Quote
M13KYF Posted November 26, 2008 Posted November 26, 2008 I thought the titanium Fujitsubo was over the 2k mark. Not a cheap exhaust and thought it was quieter than the nismo Quote
Adam@Z1auto.com Posted November 26, 2008 Posted November 26, 2008 Both the Fujitsubo Stainless and Titanium cost more than the NISMO do. Quote
