Dale350z Posted July 6, 2008 Posted July 6, 2008 Which turbo kit would be the safest and most reliable and giving me great gains. HKS, APS, Turbo technics??? Quote
Stew Posted July 6, 2008 Posted July 6, 2008 Have you searched the FI section? It is pretty well documented in there. Quote
Ian Posted July 6, 2008 Posted July 6, 2008 Go & have a look on my350z.com. There are a lot more FI cars there & they are pretty helpful at times. Just get your flame proof clothes on though Quote
live2themaxuk Posted July 6, 2008 Posted July 6, 2008 Power Enterprise seems to be the safest on the stock block. Call Envy performance for all details Quote
ZMANALEX Posted July 6, 2008 Posted July 6, 2008 Which turbo kit would be the safest and most reliable and giving me great gains. HKS, APS, Turbo technics??? Firstly, what power/torque/boost are you looking to run ? Quote
Dale350z Posted July 6, 2008 Author Posted July 6, 2008 I would like to be running near 400bhp if possible, dont want the hassle of changing internals and Low boost too Quote
tmJak Posted July 6, 2008 Posted July 6, 2008 PE all the way if you want around 400bhp, unless you're gonna want to increase power later on then get APS. Seems to be a favorite and that's only my opinion. Loads in FI section. Quote
ZMANALEX Posted July 7, 2008 Posted July 7, 2008 I would like to be running near 400bhp if possible, dont want the hassle of changing internals and Low boost too If you do not change the internals then you will have to run low boost and low torque. Quote
Chris`I Posted July 7, 2008 Posted July 7, 2008 I'd be leaning towards the PE kit as Chris suggests. Give Envy a call, they've been running one successfully for a while now Quote
GIXXERUK Posted July 7, 2008 Posted July 7, 2008 try envy for advice and/or middlehurst nissan in st helens Quote
kingbiscuit Posted July 8, 2008 Posted July 8, 2008 Because you are not gonna mess with the internals and break the magic 400 horses. Have you thought about a supercharger instead. It makes for a much cheaper install and when you come to sell the car is much easier to remove and put your car back to stock. You could get up to 75% of your money back for the supercharger on forums like these. People dont like buying 2nd hand turbos though. God told me this, I mean Big Phil (all hail) Quote
