Racing District Posted May 19, 2008 Posted May 19, 2008 Hi all, i'm going to look at a 350Z GT 2006 today, in the advert it doesn't say it has heated seats, i thought these were standard on the Gt pack? in the pic there arent any switches were they are on my mates pre-face lift GT... did they move them when they did the face lift? oh the advert says its a UK car.... Cheers Quote
sl114 Posted May 19, 2008 Posted May 19, 2008 If its a UK GT, then it should have heated seats, if not, then i would question if it is actually a GT or has had the seats trimmed? Does it have Bose and cruise control? Quote
Lexx Posted May 19, 2008 Posted May 19, 2008 The heated seats just make you feel like you've wet yourself anyway! Never use mine. And yeah, welcome! Quote
Digsy Posted May 19, 2008 Posted May 19, 2008 I think they moved the switches on the facelift cars. Don't know where to though. Quote
Trev-the-Rev Posted May 19, 2008 Posted May 19, 2008 I think they moved the switches on the facelift cars. Don't know where to though. They are on the centre console where the ashtray was on pre face lift models. Quote
M13KYF Posted May 19, 2008 Posted May 19, 2008 think your queries have been answered. Use my heated seats in the winter. Quote
martinmac Posted May 19, 2008 Posted May 19, 2008 Welcome to the forum bud, let us know how it goes Quote
Chris`I Posted May 19, 2008 Posted May 19, 2008 I use my heated seats all the time, lovely in the cold winter when your butt is freezing Quote
Racing District Posted May 19, 2008 Author Posted May 19, 2008 hi all, thanks for the welcome, yeah had heated seats in my Z4M couldn't do without them now... i've been for a look and it does have heated seats the switches were moved further down the centre console, hence why they weren't seen in the pic.. it has all the other GT stuff, bose, cruise, rays etc its in nice nick, but not mint a few stone chips, couple of small dinks in the passenger door low down and a tiny nick in the leather on the edge of the drivers seat.. its a june 2006 car done 10000 miles, the service book hasn't been stamped though its got a nissan service sticker in the window saying next service is due in August 2008 at approx 16000 miles.... its up for £18995 + the £400 tax, the guy didn't seem to want to do a deal, even without a p/x or finance in fact heres the link (hope its okay to post this please remove if not) http://users.autoexposure.co.uk/classic ... 395_1a.jpg Quote
M13KYF Posted May 19, 2008 Posted May 19, 2008 should of already had it's first service in June 2007 and second one due next month. Intervals are 9K or 12 months, whichever comes first. Intial thoughts are to walk away as you only find it difficult to sell later with a dodgy service record Quote
Racing District Posted May 19, 2008 Author Posted May 19, 2008 Okay i've just spoke to Nissan Burnley and it had its P1 in August 2007 at 7752. She said Nissan usually allow 1000 miles or 1 month grace for warranty claims, then it can be abit difficult depends on the claim and who u deal with.. so i think i'm giving that one a miss Quote
Racing District Posted May 19, 2008 Author Posted May 19, 2008 50/50, have you seen any others no, to be fair i can't find any other face lift cars with low milage anywere near that price Quote
Racing District Posted May 19, 2008 Author Posted May 19, 2008 i guess so, even though they are advertising it with remaining manufacturers warranty - which is a bit naughty Quote
Trev-the-Rev Posted May 19, 2008 Posted May 19, 2008 The price is certainly good for a facelift model, but as Mike has already said, with an incomplete service record it's a bit of a gamble. Quote
H5 Posted May 19, 2008 Posted May 19, 2008 Unless you get them to get a letter from NMGB confirming they will honour the warranty..... Quote

bronzee Posted May 20, 2008 Posted May 20, 2008 Welcome to the forum Pete. I've got the heated leather seats, and I have to say when it's really cold outside, it's really good being all toasty and warm in the pilots seat. Quote
