Idrinkbeer Posted Friday at 19:43 Posted Friday at 19:43 (edited) First off ,hi, im new here so forgive my lack of knowledge, I hope its OK to ask this , I have a work customer who has offered me for sale their 2016 370z nismo, the car has just over 29000miles , in very dirty condition but to not being used for two years, so basically it needs a very deep clean and serviced, they are offering the car to ne at £20 k , i dont want to insult them but would like to be sure its a fair price, im after a classic type of car for long-term ownership and sunny weekend fun. I understand the 370 is more old school compared with today's motors, I have a gr yaris and a m240i but would enjoy something that won't age ( if ya know what I mean) so really im asking for the forums views on this . Many thanks, and im loving reading up on these cars. Edited Friday at 21:16 by Idrinkbeer Quote
ShortPaul Posted Friday at 22:29 Posted Friday at 22:29 (edited) Hi and welcome from a Nismo owner, omg she's looking very sorry for herself 😭 I think they are great cars what's the story behind it and why has it been left to get like that? Edited Friday at 22:30 by ShortPaul Quote
Idrinkbeer Posted Saturday at 06:40 Author Posted Saturday at 06:40 I think its been neglected due to illness and general life events, the owners are really nice people with a hell of a lot going on in their lives, iv looked a bit deeper and it seems to have a very high tax rate compared with future nismo cars unfortunately. ShortPaul Posted Saturday at 10:15 Posted Saturday at 10:15 Oh that's sad ,illness is not good,I don't think it's a bargain at that price. It definitely needs to be rescued maybe offer 18k Quote
Idrinkbeer Posted Saturday at 12:28 Author Posted Saturday at 12:28 Yep i had it in my head £15k due to servicing etc. Quote
ShortPaul Posted Saturday at 13:09 Posted Saturday at 13:09 Yeah go for it buddy,I have never regretted buying mine,I bought a 2020 Nismo it's a bit of a garage Queen 3k on the clock Quote
Idrinkbeer Posted Saturday at 16:09 Author Posted Saturday at 16:09 (edited) Im still tempted but im thinking its 5k to expensive, esp considering its in the 700£ plus road tax bracket and hasnt been used for two years. Edited Saturday at 17:38 by Idrinkbeer Quote
Andy_Muxlow Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago That is such a shame! Hi and welcome along, I as above would be offering £12-£15k I assume it has no MOT either? There could be problems underneath also as its been sat for 2 years... However they are fantastic cars! Quote

Looking up its history it might have had its last mot 4 years ago which would lead me to believe its off road three years at least, id worry about unseen issues like moisture in the engine, corrosion on bearings perished rubber etc. I know with bikes its better having higher miles than none. Keith D Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago (edited) Looking rather sorry for itself. If it hasn't run for 2 years I'd want to check oil, remove the plugs, scope the bores if you have the kit, turn it over on the crank by hand, pull the fuel pump fuse and crank and build oil pressure, then fire it up before I gave a penny, but if it starts and runs 18k seems reasonable. Nice project to rescue, a detail will work wonders. Edited 1 hour ago by Keith D 1 Quote
