You only have to remove the outer bolt and nut to remove the spring.

 

I have plenty in stock, however, these can be reused many times over despite what the service manual states.

I'm surprised Nissan even commented on it, they normally have zero clue on anything 350z, 370z or GT-R :lol:

 

They're used to swapping out air filters on Nissan Qashqais and Notes.

Haha, yeah the guy initially misunderstood me and tried to source a new set of rear coils from Japan but couldn't get any. 

 

I think the reason they say they need replacing is because they have stops on the nut stopping you from tightening them too far, guess they can wear away. 

 

Mine looked okay though, bit rusty but I ultrasonic cleaned them and they look brand new now.
