SW66TTT Posted July 12, 2022 Posted July 12, 2022 I have a small leak from my oil pan, where's the best place to get a gasket? or am I better off using a sealant? Quote
daveo132 Posted July 12, 2022 Posted July 12, 2022 There is no gasket, it's a form in place sealant. I'm sure @ZMANALEX can assist. 1 Quote
SW66TTT Posted July 12, 2022 Author Posted July 12, 2022 ah ok, I watched a youtube video and he used a gasket, he was in the US so they probably do it differently over there. Quote

Some 10mm bolts (maybe 10) then just split the old sealant and clean off. Apply the new, refit then wait 24hrs for it to set. Re-fill with oil. Quote
ZMANALEX Posted July 13, 2022 Posted July 13, 2022 Here you go: It is usually the metal sump pan that becomes porous. Just drop me a PM if I can help further. In stock and good to go same/next day. Quote
