Rad caps

Hi guys,

 

This question could be really lackluster but in desperate need of confirmation. 

I have two radiator caps, one on the coolant overflow and one connected from the upper radiator hose.

I'm in the market for some shiny new caps, from what I can tell the overflow tank has a cap rating of 13psi, but the other has no other signs other than do not open when hot.

 

Are both radiator caps pressurised, and would everything be Ok if they got upped to 19 psi caps. 

I'm upgrading to silicone hoses all round soon but wasn't sure whats safe!

Think only the expansion tank is pressurised, I changed mine for the Nismo one and added a cover to the standard one on the rad

Both from Torqen

Stay at the recommended psi.

 

As said ^^^ only one cap is pressurised.

Where did you get that tank cover from?!

No worries bud, they do finish things off nice.

Cover is from a member trader @RDON he may have 1 or 2 left. I know stock was low.
