Cranking up engine after a long lay up without firing

For many reasons I've mothballed the Z after last season for a lot longer than ever before.

She has been tucked up in the garage since last October with the tyres pumped up to 50 psi to stop flat spots.

I want to get her out and start the engine but as you all know the cold start on a Z is quite fast and I'm worried that the dry internals on my rather expensive engine will grind themselves to death before the oil pump kicks in!

Buster recons there is an earth wire on the HR engine which can be disconnected to allow me to crank the engine over for a while to get the oil pressure up before the motor fires.

Any other solutions would be greatly appreciated.

And turn the crank by hand a few rotations will move the oil around prior to let cranking. Did this on previous engines after replacing cams and you can see the oil getting up to the head, slowly but it does get there.
