What is this part called and is it easily replaced?

See the pic below... Anyone know how easy is it to replace this part and where I could look for one? Please don't say the door or the roof.

 

I'm interested in the bit of plastic with the big ass chip in it.

 

I don't even know what it's called so I've no idea what to search for!

I'm pretty sure that panel comes off itself, I think I remember it being off when I had to get a windscreen replacement....

Someone took a hammer to it to try to break in. I'd have preferred it if they'd just smashed the window.
