napp Posted July 23, 2019 Posted July 23, 2019 sold my convertible saab a few months back and thinking of going for the roadster as I love the 350 lump in my skyline 350GT.I just don't get to use it much. I have had it over a year and I doubt I have covered 1000 miles in it. it drives very well with a good strong engine, its had a few small issues that I have sorted out but I don't need a practical car. so a two seater is fine. so if any owners out there who can give me the points to look out for would be a big help as all cars have there issues. ZMANALEX Posted July 23, 2019 Posted July 23, 2019 As well as all the usual 350Z/350GT stuff that gives issues, make sure that the roof fabric is in good shape, typical costs to replace just the fabric is between £850.00/£1000.00 Also, make sure that the roof mechanism works flawlessly as this can get very expensive to fix as is a specialist job, so much so that Nissan dealers will not entertain such a job. 1 Quote

napp Posted August 5, 2019 Author Posted August 5, 2019 will post the spec up when I put it up for sale. the only thing wrong is a slight rattle on the front end from the compression arms on rough roads. will have to get that done but that I think is about it. solid car , no rust , bottom has just been wax oiled , 81000 miles , 100 miles since MOT , and only done 1000 in just over a year as don't get the time to drive it. nice clean car inside and out and goes bloody well when you put your foot down , but it would as it shares the same 350 lump.
