Flashback Posted August 18, 2018 Posted August 18, 2018 Hey guys, Does anyone have any experience of any software that can be used for modelling of new parts on a car as a way to visualise bodywork and colour changes? If so what's good to look at and how easy is it to use? Quote
OnlyAfro Posted August 19, 2018 Posted August 19, 2018 (edited) Usually I just Photoshop, but there always 3DTuning and Need for Speed games, both of which are pretty awful, but better than nothing. Edited August 19, 2018 by OnlyAfro Quote
Mark350Z Posted August 19, 2018 Posted August 19, 2018 Photoshop is your best bet for basic changes as a beginner. Obviously the better you get the more advanced you can get with what you’re trying to mock-up. I mocked this up in Photoshop whilst trying to decide what direction I want the car to go but if you want to properly visualise things in 3D something like 3DS Max or similar is what you’re after. Be warned though, there’s a lot to learn! Quote
LRF4N Posted August 19, 2018 Posted August 19, 2018 Is there something specific you want to see? If it’s standard mods then google images should have something when you dig enough Quote
Flashback Posted August 20, 2018 Author Posted August 20, 2018 Thanks guys, I'll take a look at those. 4 hours ago, LRF4N said: Is there something specific you want to see? If it’s standard mods then google images should have something when you dig enough Its some bodykitting that I'm thinking about doing, I have a front in mind, but recenty I've been thinking the whole kit is not for me, so wanted to do some 3d modelling of the zed where the rears and skirts could be put on and turned around to see from different angles and colours.
