How much shall I drop my car?

Recommended Posts

Hi All,

I'm currently redoing my suspension, re-bushing all over with new adjustable coilovers.  I was originally thinking of a modest 10mm drop as I drive this on the road as my daily, but now I'm thinking if I should go a little bit more.  What does everyone think would be a good drop?

My set up sat on 19s with 265/30 and 295/30 front and rear.  Rear arches rolled.

Not looking for any speed bump hassles or indeed slammed in any way.

Cheers! :D

There is no need to bump this, you posted it up at midnight and no one has responded by 9am. Some common sense required here along with some patience.

If you have 19's you also have a little bit extra ground clearance to play with of course :)

How so?  Rolling radius is the same regardless of 17", 18" or 19" wheels assuming you stick to OEM tolerances. In the case of the OP, the car is already 10mm lower due to the chosen tyres.
