CC Mac Posted July 21, 2017 Posted July 21, 2017 Hello all , could anyone recommend a product for reproofing a Roadster roof? All the best Mac. Quote
Rob350 Posted July 21, 2017 Posted July 21, 2017 I used fabsil on my s2000 and recently on my gf mx5, perfect stuff, easy to use and long lasting, it makes the hood like a leaf, you can literally brush water off and the hood is dry as a bone Quote
Ridz Posted July 21, 2017 Posted July 21, 2017 +1 for the Autoglym Clean and Protect product. Used it on my own Zed roadster with good results. 1 Quote
Kev Posted July 22, 2017 Posted July 22, 2017 Autoglym is very good. Even with the recent heavy downpours it just beads and rolls off. Quote
Paul K Posted July 24, 2017 Posted July 24, 2017 is it the OEM vinyl roof, or a replacement Mohair? Quote
retro_al Posted July 25, 2017 Posted July 25, 2017 To be honest you can clean it with a apc then use any fabric protection I normally use renovo products, I find putting the product into a container then brush it in is the best way I have used cheap spray cans like supagards fabric protector and that works ok ( think I got the can for a £1 ) Even gtechniqs fabric protecter is good, again spray on or brush it in.
