Quotes for new discs and pads (brembo)

Recommended Posts

I've just had a quote for discs and pads and I'd like to run them past you all in case I can get a better deal elsewhere.

Standard set up

EBC Standard Discs £225

Mintex pad £192

Uprated set up

EBC Groovedisk £320

Redpads £255

All prices include fitting. What do you think is it a good deal? I'm thinking about doing them myself if the cost of fitting is too much.

Thanks in advance for any opinions.

Don't know about the discs but both pad quotes look way OTT even with fitting. The Redstuffs (if that is what you meant) should cost no more than Mintex. IIRC I payed about £50 or so quid less for the Mintex fitted.

Give bigphil or envy a shout, I'm sure they can beat those prices. I assume redpads are redstuff pads? Phil does this for £100 a set

We're just killing time waiting for you to open ESR Southern Division

Think Zedrush may carry nearly as much stock as Phil, coffee prbably isnt as good though ;)

Truth be known, he probably has more stock than Phil. ;)

Nah, he keeps sending it back, couriers are earning a fortune.

Glad you said that - I was getting worried that when we do get to see his car it will be so laden with goodies it won't move
