My car is booked in for its mot this week but I'm a bit worried it'll fail on the state of the 'W' brace, which (like most) is badly corroded and looks a state! Is this checked as part of the mot? coldel Posted September 26, 2016 Share Posted September 26, 2016 Have a quick google/search on the forum, a few threads up about the W brace - it seems to be a part of the older Zed which is rotting on quite a few cars now. Thats what the tech who did my service told me before I had it replaced. He also said it was so rusty he could put his finger through it.
