Playing iPhone music through sound system

Not up to speed on this subject and looking for guidance. I'm passing my 2004 GT (UK) on to my daughter who would like to play her downloaded music from her phone through the Bose system. I've already modded the Bose to allow a jack plug/socket connection from her phone to the Bose, using the tape deck circuitry, but it's not as convenient.

Can a blue tooth connection be made somehow between her phone and the Bose or will I have to replace the Bose??

I will need something to replace the bose or something that the phone can connect to that has an aux out socket on it, which can be connected to the phone.

Whats the inconvenience (apart form the idleness of youth) is it just having to plug in a connector every time they want to play music?

You could get round some of that with a mount for the phone that had in built connection.

I use old ipods that i've mounted in my cubby hole. See the first post in build thread.

I did try to use an ipod touch so i could have some form of connectivity and voice commands but the phone signal is too patchy. Its also much easier to controller something with buttons rather than a touch screen when driving.

I got this way back.

Great little gadget.

Tiny and discreet.

Once paired to the phon the only inconvenience is pressing the button for 3 seconds to switch it on (has auto off  ).

Once button is pressed it pairs with my S3 automatically in less than a second.

One charge lasts me a week of commuting.

I even managed to buy mine for a tenner from Sainsbury during a sale!

Yep you got it, lazy kids! I terminated my Bose hack into a jack socket mounted in the cubby (pic below) where I had already mounted my Tom Tom. So stretching all the way over to plug in the lead, mconnect it to the phone and hang it on its cradel is toooooooo much effort !
