350 HR 313 gearbox rebuild question

Hello ladies and gentlemen,

 

I have been asked the question about the 313 gearbox full rebuild costs , new gearbox purchase costs . Any light on this will assist.

£500+ for a rebuild to replace the synchro's. No idea what else can be done in there to up the price. I would expect a brand new box to be near £3k from Nissan, if not much more.

I just had my box done, it cost £1,100inc taxes, I had 5th and 6th synchros destroyed, the input and output bearings were also gone. HR with the JK41C Gearbox.

 

The biggest killer is waiting for parts! You may aswell do the clutch and flywheel while your at it.

 

I don't know anyone in Milton Keynes. Is H-Dev far from you?
