Djb92 Posted July 5, 2016 Posted July 5, 2016 Hi all, as the above says I'm rather clueless as regards wheel aliment and Ihave no idea if this is correct for an oem car. Can someone explain why my camber seems to be so far out on the left side on both the front and rear and yet on the right it is set straight down the middle? Many thanks Quote
Grundy Posted July 5, 2016 Posted July 5, 2016 Is that after an alignment? They aren't symmetrical as far as I know due to the camber in the road? I could more than likely be wrong with that statement. Quote
Djb92 Posted July 5, 2016 Author Posted July 5, 2016 Yeah thats after alignment mate. Thats what i thought. My dad seems to think that it looks odd. But like I say I'm bait clueless with this type of thing. Quote
Ekona Posted July 5, 2016 Posted July 5, 2016 Possibly lack of adjustment in the standard mounts, however that looks a little suspect to me. I'd go back and ask them why it's not even. 1 Quote
Djb92 Posted July 5, 2016 Author Posted July 5, 2016 That's what my dad was saying thanks for the info though I'll go ahead and take it back. Sent from my HTC One M9 using Tapatalk Quote
Jetpilot Posted July 6, 2016 Posted July 6, 2016 (edited) It may well be the camber control bolt on the rear is seized so they couldnt adjust it, the front is non adjustable. Edited July 6, 2016 by Jetpilot Quote
BobbyZ Posted July 6, 2016 Posted July 6, 2016 (edited) I'd kinda want to be told if something was wrong that meant they couldn't get the alignment right... Edited July 6, 2016 by BobbyZ 1 Quote
Brimstoneboy Posted July 6, 2016 Posted July 6, 2016 Had similar other week bobbyz but the lad doin job told me if he tried to undo it could shear . Didn't charge me just said bring it back when you free em off or better still replace . Get ready if you buy em from Nissan. My wallet is still smarting. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote
Djb92 Posted July 6, 2016 Author Posted July 6, 2016 I know that they weren't seized as I freed them both off before taking them there after a different place refused to touch them incase they sheared off the bolt. so I know they were definitely able to adjust them. Quote
Jetpilot Posted July 6, 2016 Posted July 6, 2016 They may spin but doesnt mean the adjustment works, I had it on mine, just a thought for you. Quote
