Yes it is but it seemed better to get that and have options should the opportunity arrive I have to be honest, it was pretty easy, you would have to be a bit of a muppet to fail, mostly common sense in the theory test, apart from knowing the flags and the track drive is just to show you have understanding of racing lines and the environment i.e quicker cars on track, its driven at a steady pace.
