HR & maybe 370! something a bit special for the engine bay bling..

polished alloy rad tank. May even fit the 370, if anyone knows please let us know? its been a 18 month on going project that's finally completed! a hand made custom tank that's shaped and fits in place just like the OEM one. just a few photos for now to wet your appetite lol..... if any HR members want any information about it drop me a PM. once I have fitted it I will add some more photos.

If it was me I'd have ground those welds down though.

 

I used to be a metal worker. I can get a perfect smooth round edge on stuff like that. Or completely straight. Just me being anal though.

 

Just need an angle grinder and an orbital sander with varying grits.

 

Either way it looks good.

See I'm totally opposite to this, I love the welds it shows that it's a custom built up piece rather than a pressed metal mass produced item.

 

All down to personal preference though, but to me that looks the muts nuts :thumb:
