Jordan1553 Posted April 18, 2016 Posted April 18, 2016 Hey guys, just ordered some tyres online, then came to the realisation that I may not be able to fit 2x 225/45/18 and 2x 245/45/18 in the car to take to be fitted unless I wear them whilst driving! Just wondered if anyone has attempted this expert level of Tetris before and if it can be done? Quote
G1en Posted April 18, 2016 Posted April 18, 2016 I wouldnt think its possible. Best get someone else to follow you down and take them Quote
Husky Posted April 18, 2016 Posted April 18, 2016 (edited) I got some 275's and 295's in there before if I remember correctly. I slightly marked the door handle though :/ One in the boot space maybe tucked under the strut bar, hard to remember. One behind the seats. Two on the passenger seat. Yeah, I remember having zero room to move about once they were all in Edited April 18, 2016 by Husky Quote
Husky Posted April 18, 2016 Posted April 18, 2016 Nicely done bro! Get a second opinion though, it's been some years since I did this and my memory is going Quote
Jordan1553 Posted April 18, 2016 Author Posted April 18, 2016 I bet you take your shopping in one bag at a time too don't you? 😂 I might have to to be honest mate! Quote
Husky Posted April 18, 2016 Posted April 18, 2016 Yeah here's a thread about it: http://my350z.com/forum/media-share/50954-how-to-fit-four-tires-wheels-inside-a-350z.html Quote
Sargara Posted April 18, 2016 Posted April 18, 2016 Me and a mate managed to fit 2x 225 front tyres in the back of the 350z. Take out the space saver and the boot floor and you can JUST about wedge them ontop of each other in the back and under the strut Quote
GreenLandy Posted April 18, 2016 Posted April 18, 2016 Take out the spare and leave it at home One there, then one in the boot. 3+4 in the passenger seat? Or one behind, one in front? Possibly one wedged on the centre bulkhead area - partly in the boot Quote
Husky Posted April 18, 2016 Posted April 18, 2016 Be careful with the door handle silver paint, the tyres can damage the paint on it easily if you shut the door without checking it doesn't hit. Quote
AliveBoy Posted April 18, 2016 Posted April 18, 2016 (edited) amateurs, 8 tyres Edited April 18, 2016 by AliveBoy 8 Quote
Jordan1553 Posted April 18, 2016 Author Posted April 18, 2016 Hats off, you're all better than me at tyre Tetris... Quote
Commander Posted April 18, 2016 Posted April 18, 2016 Take your boot carpet and spare wheel out - dubious legality, but it'd probably give you a lot of room. Quote
AliveBoy Posted April 18, 2016 Posted April 18, 2016 Take your boot carpet and spare wheel out - dubious legality, but it'd probably give you a lot of room. Why would that be dubious legality? You're not required by law to have carpet, or a spare tyre... 1 Quote
