Idolhands
I've just picked up my new 350z. The engine malfunction light occasionally flickers. Doesn't stay on but the car continues to perform faultlessly?? There is a rather sexy after market exhaust fitted. The manual says it's an engine misfire?? Doesn't sound like any misfire I've heard? Could it be a faulty sensor??? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Edited March 13, 2016 by Idolhands
Floydbax
That's sounds weird to me. In my experience, when the EML comes on then it stays on until you physically clear it. You could do with reading any codes that are stored in there.
ZMANALEX
Best to take it back to the supplying dealer.
davey_83
Has it been ran real low on fuel recently?
GMballistic
Best to take it back to the supplying dealer. ^^ This is probably the best option if you've only just got it OP. Get them to read the engine codes to check for any faults. Misfire could be a faulty plug/coil pack etc but you're not going to know without having the codes read & getting the car looked at.
