zippypooz Posted February 9, 2016 Posted February 9, 2016 I thought id post this as i thought this was pretty informative...We all know (well most of us!!) that owning a zed involves choosing a good make of tyre, unless you want to kill yourself!! So heres a tyre review for owners of 19'' rims!! Once youve chosen your tyre, try visiting www.oponeo.co.uk! I saved a fair few quid from these guys compared with most of the other online tyre companies...hopefully you can save a few £££ too. http://www.tyrerevie...P-Tyre-Test.htm 1 Quote

I had these on my old 350 and preferred them to the current Bridgestones on the 370! 1 Quote
Adrian_CNC Posted February 9, 2016 Posted February 9, 2016 Hate to sound like a stuck record but Michelin pilot super sports are an amazing tyre any weather Love mine and Wear so well also I second that, the grip in the wet is actually annoying to me sometimes because it makes any spontaneous roundabout sliding difficult. I kinda laughed at all the praise they get before getting the car with them on, wondering where all those MPSS fanboys came from but they just are bloody impressive! 1 Quote
PMX Posted February 9, 2016 Posted February 9, 2016 I fitted MPSS on my 350 and loved them, my 370 has Continentals and I'm not sure about them at all. I need to check the balance, tracking, etc first (hopefully this week) and then if there is no improvement, may look at swapping them?? Although I am not looking forward to the bill!! What sort of cost am I looking at for 4 tyres on a 370, standard 19" rays.... Quote

brillomaster Posted February 10, 2016 Posted February 10, 2016 I'm interested to see how the Continental Sport Contact 6, Goodyear Eagle F1 3 and Michelin Pilot Sport 4 all compare... since each of their predecessors were brilliant. I'd say with confidence that if either of the GY Eagle F1 or MPSS were included in that test they would have been somewhere in the top 5. 1 Quote
coldel Posted February 10, 2016 Posted February 10, 2016 Openeo, Tyre Leader, Asda, Camskill all good sites for tyres. Do make sure to check the tyre ages though, have heard stories of these cheap companies selling on tyres that are 5-10 years old and have been sat in a warehouse. I bought my Vreds from Camskill, literally pence in it compared to the others but have bought stuff from them before and had great service. 1 Quote
LloydZee Posted February 10, 2016 Posted February 10, 2016 Another Goodyear Eagle F1 fan boy here. I've ahd the Goodyears on my Focus ST and 350z in the past, amazing in all conditions. Would highly recommend. I currently have Vredestein Sessanta's on the 370z. Very good tyres, seem to wear well and also good in the wet...maybe not quite as good as the Goodyears were on the 350, but hard to compare between cars. 1 Quote
