Are the GT Editions worth the extra?

Seen a nice one I'd consider, they cost a reasonable amount more than their non GT Edition counterparts, to me anyway. All I can find online (and the thread in this forum) is they have a little more sound damping internally, dark grey rims and apparently better suspension and ride (though that can be subjective, I like a firmer ride in a sports type car) Is there anything else that makes £2-3k's worth of difference that I don't know about? Or would I be better off with a nice non "Edition" model and putting the difference into the exhaust, cool air intake, etc...?

I swear one of these days I'll own a 370

Reversing camera as well as the side stripes but is a 2012 "Edition" really worth £2-3k more than a 2012 normal GT? Are you comparing like for like?

Yes, same year, similar miles, there seems to be quite a price gap ~10% against some other non "GT Editions" whilst there are 2012 similar miles cars going for a similar price to the 2011 "GT Edition". Dealer prices are all over the show anyway.
