Read somewhere that it not being there is not an MOT failure but that doesnt seem right to me as it looks substantial More than likely the tester will not notice that the brace has been removed, however best to run with a brace as it does serve a purpose. just had a look and my car doesnt have the brace so the last owner or garage that sold me the car kindly removed it without replacing it. Nice to know they are concerned about the safety of the next owner. Good job im an old fogey who doesnt really push the car hard or take it to track days as i would probably have ended up trying hospital food by now.
