veeg33 Posted December 13, 2015 Posted December 13, 2015 One of the boot popper decided to give way this morning. For the past few days, I've been struggling to open the boot by one hand only and suspected the poppers are less effective due to the cold. (I've already added a few washers last year to fix the non-popping issue) I know Clark Motorsports sells them but I'm wondering if I can get them somewhere else cheaper? I suppose I need to change both to get an even spring load on both sides rather than replacing just one side. Does anyone know the part number? I might try my local Nissan garage. Cheers! Quote
Jay Kay Posted December 13, 2015 Posted December 13, 2015 Think they're about 30 quid each from Nissan 1 Quote
Renegade Posted December 14, 2015 Posted December 14, 2015 (edited) Mine are new on my 2015 370Z . They still don't work properly. On my 11 years old 350Z I never had any problem. I think it might be the boot release that's a bit tight, it has not been greased yet. Edited December 14, 2015 by Renegade 1 Quote

Hodaka Posted December 14, 2015 Posted December 14, 2015 Is the part number 84415-CD71A? Both CM and Torqen seem to use that as the part number: CM (as you already know) - http://www.clarkmotorsport.co.uk/parts/Boot-Spring-Lift/84415-CD71A Torqen - http://www.torqen.uk/350z/body-styling/exterior/976-350z-nissan-oem-rear-boot-lift-spring-84415-cd71a.html Quote
