Why can't I post a photo?

I'm doing the usual stuff, uploading to photobucket etc but when I try to add the photo - by clicking on the little green square, the pop up appears with the title Image Properties and allows me to paste the photobucket URL into it but then just freezes. If I click OK, to add the photo, nothing at all happens. Then if I try to cancel I can't and as its totally frozen I have to come out of the website completely and then go back in.

 

Am I being stupid?

What browser? Works fine on Safari 9, Firefox 40. Delete cache / history close browser and start again, see if it makes a difference.

If I'm reading it right, you mean you're having trouble uploading you PB image to this forum?

 

You don't need to click the 'green box'

 

Just copy the IMG code from your photo on PB - and just paste it in to this text box.

It is annoying this system instead of being able to just upload it you have to go through something like PB, I end up using tapatalk that seems to sort this by giving it a URL even though its not on another site?

Its strange, if I copy the URL from PB and click the green box on this site, I am able to paste it in (although the system then freezes), however if I copy it and then attempt to paste it into this text box, rather than the green box, then I don't have a paste option - as if it hasn't copied (even though it has). I'm guessing I have an issue with my setup/profile on here?

Wey hey!!!! had to clear the cache thing and now my paste function works. Bloody odd but there you go

Guess you didn't read my post then There is no need for the Green button usage.

It's called disc space. This is a forum, not a image hosting site.

Hi Grundy, I did read your post but as I said, I couldn't copy into the text box as my paste function wasn't working - other than when using the green box. The suggestion to clear cache appears to have worked though so thanks to everyone for assistance.

Ah, were you right clicking? Did you try Ctrl + V ?

I tried everything but no joy until I cleared cache. No idea why, I can't explain it but now seem able to paste so we're all good

I use the "Direct" option in the sharing options and works fine for me - i.e.
