SiriusProjects
Hi All, Recently I have posted on here a couple of times because I have been having issues with my zed. I've pretty much cancelled out any problems with the performance or electrics. The most noticeable problem is that I am getting more vibration through the gear stick than normal and I also feel a slight constant vibration through the steering wheel and whilst you do get the occasional squeak from the cabin, there is a lot more creaking and groaning than normal from around the car. The vibrations do occur even when the car is parked, in neutral and just idling. I've looked at various posts online where people have had similar issues and some people say it could be the DMF and others say it could be an engine mount, gearbox mount or some joint that might be worn. Going on what I have said above, what do you guys think?

Jetpilot
what do you guys think? As above per zman and which is exactly what i said in one of your other posts. Its impossible for us to diagnose from our pc's, take it to a specialist, get it sorted and then enjoy Edited August 7, 2015 by Jetpilot
ZMANALEX
Indeed, we are not theorists and speculation would be purely theoretical.
Tricky-Ricky
Do you have an engine damper fitted? or have you recently fitted a new exhaust system, could be something touching.
SiriusProjects
How can I get in touch with the guys at the Zed Shed?
TT350
Best way is to get it up on a ramp and have a good look and try and eliminate the possible culprits. It's a pain but process of elimination is the order of the day. If you're close to another member who knows his stuff perhaps meet up with them. Everyone on here is friendly. I'm in greater Manchester. If you're local I could get you up on a ramp at my friends garage.
SiriusProjects
Thanks for the offer TT350. Unfortunately I live way down in Somerset. That's why I thought about the guys at the zed shed. It's still a bit of a drive, but they are probably the closest too me.
Jetpilot
Have you tried Ross @ Drgaon Performnace as before, he cant be a million miles from you and is probably closer than the Zed shed and the zed shed crew arent a business, just very helpful members Edited August 8, 2015 by Jetpilot
SiriusProjects
Thanks. I've got the number for Dragon Performance. Will give them a call on Monday. Has anyone else ever taken their zed to them?
