WORD OF WARNING I did this...........but the usb monitor adds over 1:30 minute of boot up time and i had problems with it losing its touch after a resume. In theory it works real well but in real life it isn't suitable for a primary car monitor.

I wouldnt bother getting a double din touch screen head unit if your only going to be listen to your pc music. You can get cheap double din head unit which are pretty basic but are ideal for pc connectivity

I replaced my head unit for my car pc.....also swapped out all the speakers and installed an amp. Those who retain the bose stereo have had to modify the tape to accept an aux input. Im sure someone that has done this will be along shortly But i'd recommend new head unit and speakers as you will get a much better sound

I hate these people!!! I was nearly caught out going back a few years.....I won 2 laptops on ebay and the seller requested the money sent via western union....at the time i wasn't that knowledgeable of the ebay shenanigans....So i sent the money then about an hour later i had an email from ebay saying the seller is a fraud and to not go through with the sale!!!...An email came through from the seller that he was on the way to the store to claim the western union order!!!I was straight on the phone to western union and cancelled it asap!!! although it cost me £50 in charges it was better off that loosing £1500!!!! Moral of the story.....Be very wary when it comes to purchasing on the web....Never again have i sent through western union
