  1. I'll take the floor mats PM sent
  2. Thanks Alex and Keyser, just what wanted to hear. Fingers crossed it goes smoothly, unlike the current ride in the car
  3. After 85k and ten years my banana arm bush has died. So I've just bought a full front end set of the Superpro Polyurethane ones from H-Dev. I need to get a tool to split the ball joints upper and lower so I can get the arms off for pressing the new bushes in. Is there any specific 'size' I need or can someone recommend a suitable tool that isn't a fortune? Also do I need something to remake the joints after they have been split? I plan to buy new nuts for the ball joints after reading a couple of threads on here. Thank you Steve
  4. Thank you for some reason I hadn't twigged on the 350z and 370z parts forums.....school boy error.....

  6. If you are unhappy and can get a refund, which I would be surprised about in all honesty as most used cars are 'sold as seen' and clutches are wear and tear parts, go for it. BUT bear in mind the same thing may happen on the next car you buy. Folk on here have had clutches replaced at 20k to well over 100k. As others have said it's all about how it's previous owner drove the car. Alternatively if you get it fixed you know it's gonna be perfect. Rule 1 of Zed ownership is completely ignore anything Nissan UK tell you and trust Clark Motorsport, ZMANALEX, Cougarstore, Horsham Developments, Kaizer etc Labour to remove the box and clutch etc is about 3 hours disassembly and then 3 hours assembly. Thus 6 hours, at independent garage rates £40 an hour that's £240. New clutch about £300, new fly about £350 = £890. I guess the quote you had for the clutch would include a genuine Nissan clutch from Nissan which they charge about £600 for. The garage being a chain will be running about £70 an hour labour thus the £1000+ price. Unfortunately clutches wearing out is just one of those things, you never know when it will happen but it will at some point.
  7. Sound file: Also for further info this fits a UK or an Import. To fit the UK model the plastic rear diff cover needs to be removed. My car is a UK model so can confirm this dual fits without having to grind away any diff fins as needed with some duals. Thanks Steve
  8. Good point, collection is Huddersfield, West Yorks.
  9. This was an exhaust I bought to try a quiet one after taking my K1 off. It is a sensible exhaust, very little drone if any but a nice fruity OEM style sound but louder when you give it some. This is by no means a loud exhaust. Again generally in good condition, usual wear and tear marks. Rolled oval tail pipes which look good against an OEM bumper, probably didn't suit my Chargespeed one very well. The flexis on the X-Pipe have some damage but nothing serious and the bellows are still well protected. Comes with 4 U-clamps and an adjustable rear right mounting loop such that you can get the two tail pipes perfectly level. Will post a vid soon £120 + delivery or collection from Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, close to M62 junction for Brighouse.
  10. The time has come to part ways with my old K1. I always planned to keep it and put it back on because I loved the sound it made but need the cash now for other bits so selling it. Comes with bungs, generally good condition, few scratches on the underside of the cans, not visible when fitted. The cans rattle a little bit if you shake them so I guess some of the baffles have come loose but it still works perfectly and sounds the same as it always did. Bunged it made 93.7Db static 3/4rpm test No bungs it made 104Db static 3/4rpm test These were tested at Oulton Park. £120 + delivery. Sold as seen.
  11. About 4:45 today I was just leaving work on St Andrews road at CTT. Saw a silver convertible with a V1 spoiler and aftermarket rear lights coming the other way. I waved, got a wave back. Anyone on here?
  12. I can now definitely confirm the OE studs are M10 x 1.25 (M10 Fine) It's simply that 3/8" BSF has a pitch of 1.27mm Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Rt fitted and sprayed my shine front and skirts which weren't the best fit to be honest did a great job. I also had one of their CS rears fitted which is an excellent fit. They even fixed an issue with it free of charge 9 months after it was done when I found a small defect in the bumper fibreglass. Pricing was one of the best quotes I got. Only downside was the original spray guy was probably a 7 out of 10. New guy employed since then and the quality is far better based upon the repair done. I'd definitely use them again.
  14. Thanks for measuring yours up mate, appreciate it. Maybe mine are just that badly corroded that they are no longer m10 x 1.25. I'll buy some m10 x 1.25 nuts and try them on the studs. Mine took a 13mm hex and were loose in it, shows how corroded they are!
  15. Thanks for that mate, however because you remove the cats when you fit the down pipes I think Berks have just used new bolts that are a different size that fit through the OEM Y-Pipe holes. I know I could go to Nissan but I bet they want £5 per nut at least lol.
  16. That's what I thought too. I know I could just drill them all out but under the car doing it isn't that easy due to access. I've been into stores at work today and tried pretty much every bolt we had. The only one I can find that fits is a 3/8 BSF. It feels a little loose but that could be because my old nut is corroded to hell.
  17. I've checked the nuts with some plug gauges at work and it's not m10 x 1.25. We thought it was 3/8 UNF but then the pitch was wrong. It seems to be M9 x 1.25........gash
  18. Does anyone know what the thread is on the cat to y pipe studs on the 350? I'm replacing them all on mine as badly corroded when I put my new exhaust on. However just called in at a bolt specialist and they think it's (took an old one in with me) M9x1.25 but didn't have any in stock. Can anyone confirm the size so I can order off the web? Thank you Steve
  19. I'd be interested in the decat pipes
