    Mine's set as 6000, thought that was the peak on the torque curve? Mine's a first gen, not sure about the later models though.

    Only the pre-06 ones. Post-06 are still at the 400 quid band. But if he's just passed the MOT it must be a pre-06 car so he should 'only' be looking at £215!

    to the club! As per other posts enjoy the roof down whenever it's dry but never move the hood unless its completely dry / completely frost-free!

    I got mine from a Japanese specialist, cost me very little money, about £7 each from memory (I can check the invoice later if you want?) and they fitted them, they're called Protech and their number is 01275 859955. Doubt you'd want them to fit though, bit of a drive for you...

    It does look nice but I'm very much in the I'd rather have my 3.5 v6 than a highly strung 2.0 litre 4 cyclinder jobbie too, sorry Zedboy! Having said that the exterior does look fantastic, so much better than the current Scooby!

    Share it with us Sarnie.... I know someone who wrote off a Golf GTi on a test drive earlier this year on a motorway, in that it ran out of petrol stuttered, died and someone smashed into it! Probably didn't look anywhere near as spectacular as either of those though!
