  1. Chris has actually got me very worried now, dont want to play around with the dome lights any more as I dont want to cause any expensive damage
  2. cracking job Paul, you really worked some magic to get the car back to a wonderful condition Jon
  3. WTF This is the reason my dome lights are not fading becuase I was playing around to get the some nice footwell lights in and this shorted a fuse and the rest is history !!!!! will I ever get the dome fading lights working again Husky, did you manage to get your dome fading function to work again ?
  4. just tried putting back the non led bulb and I still have the same problem with the gradual fading effect not working back to the car to have another look.................going to check the fuses again which is located below the driver kickwell, this problem arised when I changed a fuse which blew and the indicator, speedo didnt work
  5. too late regarding taking the white switches apart Husky, took me a while to find that damn spring which flew out when I opened one of the white switches aprt Bulletmaget, you maybe right about the led bulbs not allowing gradual fade. I will slot back the old bulbs and see if they still allow the gradual fade effect. Ifthey do, Im stuck as to where the problem is then
  6. very nice expecially the open plan living area and garden
  7. are these the interior lights husky? If yes I have a similar problem, my lights don't respond and fade when the door open or when I use the key fob to unlock the car. The light do work when I manually press the light switch though ? I think I will tackle the problem again this weekend, let me know how you get on.
  8. sounds like a top idea This is something which I would definitely put my name down for a group buy, as everyone knows the engine compartment gets very hot and I've always wondered if there was a mod out there to get air from outside to my JWT popcharger without having to mod the bodywork. Definitely a winner if a trader can reproduce this hint hint

    Battery

If you are looking for a one to one swap then this one at halfords will fit (replaced my old battery on my 2005 JDM) http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stor ... yId_165762 or like jim mentioned you can find one which will fit the battery tray, not sure if you need to adjust anything to make it fit though !
  10. JWT Popcharger - this kept getting mentioned on quite a few threads and everyone which brought one was happy. Now im one of them
  11. Hi Does anyone know if this model OBDII will work on a JDM ? http://www.amazon.co.uk/CAN-Bus-Trouble ... 516&sr=1-1 Thanks Jon
  12. Alessandro The reversing sound is the parking sensor on my car, this was also affected which the fuse blew but is now working again Jon
  13. Thanks Guys for your input on this problem Sorted out the problem with the help of Marzman who pointed out is was the fuse below the fuse extractor by the driver footwell. The speedo and indicators are now all working. lol driving the car today and noticed the engine management light come on, what's next now
  14. Do you mean 1 fuse for all 3 problems ? If yes, is this the fuse box on the driver footwell ? As this is all in Jap I had a look at your posting with a diagram fuse lid in english and I dont think its there, unless I missed it ! Can you please point me in the right direction as to where this fuse is located ? Thanks Jon
  15. Hi All Need some help, this afternoon I took the car for a spin and found out my speedo and indicators AND reversing sound are all not working. Has anyone else had this problem before and how they got around fixing it. I would rather fix this myself and learn abit more about the car, but if its a major problem its will have togo to the garage. Thanks Jon
  16. I agree with Digsy on the decals I remember looking at this car on pistionheads or this website when I was looking to purchase a 350z.The extra specs are impressive but I did not know if the decals could be easily be removed or I had to take the car to a bodyshop to get this removed which would then be a real hassle, one which most buyer would not want after spending over £10k on a car.
  17. I think this is the thread you are talking about viewtopic.php?f=3&t=23786&start=0

  22. been thinking awhile wether to go for an after market spolier but have my eye on an OEM lip spolier. Does anyone have one for sale preferably in Azure ? Thanks
  23. I had the same problem after my battery died, jump started the car and drove to Halfords and took out the battery and found one of theirs battery was the same size (HB054), below a link, hope this sorts you out http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stor ... yId_165762
  24. Further to this on a JDM (2002) - I only have a single key for my car and am paranoid about losing it - I have just been reading a post about getting a blank key cut (ebay key) and reprogramming the key fob etc - does this reprogramming simple do the buttons (ie remote unlock etc) or does it also program the new transponder for the immobiliser? Interesting, I like yourself have only one key. This may be an alternaltive route for me as I was thinking of getting an after market alarm and immobiliser and this will solve me getting a Jap key imported and programmed for a stonking £498 which I was quoted for by a dealer. I will then get a key off ebay and just get the key cut and the alarm and immobiliser will work off the aftermarket fob. I agree this will cost me more than £500 but its better than paying a stealer almost £500 for a JDM key.
