  1. are you using spacers That would be my guess spacers shouldn't make any difference, the longer stud on the spacers counters the width of the spacer therefore retaining the standard nut, bolt on spacers always have a corresponding stud length again retaining the standard nut. does that depend the the space type though Yeah, this generally boils down to how thick the spacer is, most of the big sizes will come with the bolts needed, but as has been mentioned the bolt length will be the same as they are on the OE bits.

  5. this would be great for us lifeboat bods, the thought of havinga warm car to get into when you get a shout at 4 in the morning, and also not running the risk of ragging it from cold. however it has happened in the past that some hefty damage has been done by the dodgy installs of these units. Regards. Nathan@Sumopower

  11. good old fresh water i suspect will be a good idea, just to wash it off, and possibly a good coating of a popular brand of water repelent oil bassed spray . this i do on the ILB on station at sheerness RNLI. im not sure if it is a good idea but i have never had any prblems so far. maybe a steam clean will be safer on the engine. regards nathan@sumopower
  12. Well as far as my limited knowledge runs, i believe that its ok as long as it does not change the way the plate looks, ie if you have the camera showing a little in such a way that it would not reflect correctly, then i believe that it would then be illegal, if your only using a pin prick type camera which is clearly not visable and does not show any marks on the plate then i guess that would be ok. Obviously dont quote me if you get tugged or anything Regards Nathan@Sumopower
